It's brilliant!

More nails that I did the other week. They were mine and they looked great. Took 2 hours. For my college course I can't have my nails fancy so I won't be doing mine much anymore. I did some again the other day for my boyfriends mum so I'll get the pictures off his phone and post them too. Sorry about the bad quality pics... didn't realise they'd be so rubbish. I'll take pictures on my camera in future.

Can't sleep

Dreams

I had a dream that I wasted my whole lunch half hour at college arguing to get a bagel because they're usually only for breakfast. I won. I got my bagel. I didn't have time to eat it. FAIL.

Changes

I have transferred to the general beauty course at college because a place became available. So I'll be doing the course I originally applied for! It's all working out. I start next week. I'm really looking forward to this new part of my life. I'm gunna do well with it :)
Bear with me while I get started. I'll be redoing my nails in a day or two so they look good for my first day. Actually I'll be doing them monday. I'll be doing my boyfriends mums nails again too. I'll get pictures of course!

Barry M is wonderful! The nail polishes work well for water marble AND I just recently bought the black liquid eyeliner... I LOVE it. It's great! I'm gettin the hang of it quite quickly, it stays on all day without budging but it comes off SO easily with makeup remover. It's GREAT!

Progress

I got onto a nail course at college. :D I start in 2 weeks. Finally going to be doing something I enjoy. Hopefully i'll do well with it. I'll keep posting pics of nail stuff that i do for other people, with permission obviously. I'm looking forward to it so much!

Waaaaaah!!!

EPIC water marble nail stuffs!

This is my second attempt. I spent a few hours the other night with my boyfriends mum and we tried to do the water marble thing. It didn't go right except for 1 nail and i couldnt get it the same again haha even though my boyfriends mum did it really well!

So i tried it again last night and it all went well minus 3 nails so i re-did them this morning! I havent done a proper clean up yet so theres still some nail polish on my fingers around the nail BUT it shows them pretty well so check it out! :D! I'm so addicted! It takes a while though but im glad of that as it'll be a great boredom buster!

Which witch?

Witch concealer was todays purchase. It's a concealer stick but has some sort of witch hazel extract to help get rid of spots as well as covering them. I'd read good reviews about it and needed something good so I bought it at £3.50 from Asda i had to get it. I put it on quickly while on the bus and it covered a lovely shiny, red under the skin spot to almost gone. It definately faded it a lot. I wasn't expecting it to disappear but it did a fine job of helping to make it look not so volcanic and dangerous! I don't wear foundation over my whole face but I'll put the concealer on tomorrow underneath a bit of foundation to see how that works but that's for tomorrows post ;)

Ooooh I'll review mascaras soon. I have tonssss and they're my favourite makeup item for sure.

Decisionssss

Think this may turn into a beauty blog in general. I'll post pics and review my makeup and beauty products as well as nail stuffs! Woop woop.

Should keep me occupied as well as maybe getting some more viewers ;)

Gunna be trying the water marble effect on my boyfriend's mum's nails soon! It'll be next week but I'm excited to try it out! Glad I don't have to wait until my gel nails grow out lol.

York nails

These are the nails I got in York. The plain gel nails then hand painted design. I quite like them but miss my others from oz.

I'm waiting for these to grow out now so i can start using my nail varnishes.

Oh yeah and one of my crackle nail varnishes. Its on BYS white for my base coat then BYS red crackle top coat with a collection 2000 clear top coat.

I've also attached a pic of my toes! lol. I did a purple matt nail varnish a few days ago and then topped it up with a sparkly glittery coat the other day. :) The glitter looks much better IRL, its not showing up as good on camera.

Arghh

Really wishing I had nail art tools. I only have the normal nail varnishes still and really want some of the pens so I can start to try patterns. *sob* need money!

WAAAAAH

I also would like to say that I bought 7 new nail varnishes in the past 2 days and also recieved my Sally Hansen Diamond Strength clear nail hardener that i got off ebay the other day. I can't wait to start using them all!
I've run out of funds this week now so more purchases will have to wait til next week. EEEEK.

Dictionary

Predictive text dictionaries that are stored on mobile phones are odd. When trying to type the word 'lappytop' in a text, the only word my phone could put together was 'larrytor'... how the heck is that a word that would be stored in ANY dictionary??.... *sigh*

Return of the joely

Just got back off holiday and been catching up with life. Been looking at blogs this morning and I'm determined to do the waterpattern nail art once these gel nails have grown out.

I got my nails done in Australia (will add a picture at the end of this) and then got them redone when I went to York with my boyfriend (will post that pic another time). This won't end up being a nail blog but it'll have a lot about nails in it once I can paint my nails again. Keep reading! ;)

Fimo canes and christmas trees

What are FIMO CANES? I've googled it for research because they look pretty awesome and I want some! They remind me of flexible erasers that I used to have at school. They are something like transfers for nails... it sounds ace and I want to see someone who has them. I wanna learn how to use them!

Also! By christmas I want to be able to decorate my nails with a Xmas theme. Christmas trees and tinsel nails!! It'll look awesome.... well hopefully.

UV rays, gel nails and goodbyes

I have a mole on my ribs and was sunbathing earlier on so I covered the mole in suncream to protect it more than my other skin and I got a little pink apart from a 4cm left-to-right circle surrounding the mole which has stayed glowing white. hahah. I'll have to get a picture before it fades.

I also got my nails done the other day for the first time. I've wanted them done for a long time and my mum paid for it for me while she took my brother shoe shopping. Somewhat patronising as it felt similar to childcare lol but I got my nails done all pretty so I accepted it! I'll get a picture of that up too at some point.

Going to Melbourne tomorrow for the next part of my holiday. I'll be saying bye to my mum for about a year which will suck but things are looking up and a more certain time to see her again is set so it'll be ok :)

I wanted to take spontaneous photos while I was on holiday and I find it amusing to take secret not-so-secret photos of my mum but I think if I did it now then she'd turn into one of those creatures that goes psycho at you when they react to flash.
